The August winners have arrived! Havok’s 2024 monthly flash fiction contest is themed “Remember When”, and we’re looking for stories with unique narrative voices. In August, these tales take us on a journey through summer from a sandy coastal beach to a man-made lightning storm, from a dinosaur wedding to a foggy night in Buck’s Row, London. Oh, and we’ll never forget when Aladdin told his genie the final wish!
The five winners below represent the top story from each of our five genres: Mystery Monday, Techno Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, Thriller Thursday, and Fantasy Friday. These winning tales will be collected in our Remember When anthology (coming out in spring 2025).
