August is here, and it’s time to celebrate! This year, our daily stories are entries in a monthly flash fiction contest. At the beginning of each month, we announce last month’s winner in each of five categories (our five umbrella genres): Mystery Monday, Techno Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, Thriller Thursday, and Fantasy Friday. The winning stories from the whole year will be collected in our Remember When anthology (releasing in spring 2025).
