Wow, can you believe we did something BRAND NEW this year, Ling?
Havok is always doing something new, Phenny. How is this any different?
But Havok sponsored an art contest! And Havok is usually a writing contest!
Well, I suppose that is a little unusual. How did it go?
Come see for yourself! We’re featuring the winners right here!
The Winning Art
It was our hope that we’d have enough art entries to pick a winner for every character in the Season 12: Multiversal line-up. We almost got our wish! Here are the winning entries for each character that received an art submission, in order that the characters appear in Season 12:

Congratulations, winners!
Pending the agreement of the artists, we plan to include these entries in our Multiversal ebook and print anthology, publishing in Spring 2026.
And because Joe Enza, our first character released, did not receive any entries in the art contest we commissioned an illustration of him from one of the Hive’s talented resident artists, Madison Brown.

The Grand Prize Winners
From the beginning, we wanted to award two artists each a Grand Prize of $100 in art supplies or software. Given that the overwhelming majority of the winning entries were digital or hybrid, we decided to award based solely on the judges scoring of skills, rather than one prize for digital and one using traditional materials.
And to share the Grand Prizes winners, let’s turn it back over to our Mythington announcers.
…
…(drumroll)…
…
Our first Grand Prize winner — who just happened to also be the first person to submit an entry, and who submitted a total of two winning entries — is…
Andrea Renae!
And last but certainly most prolific, our second Grand Prize winner — with a total of nine entries and four winners — is…
Luca Nobleman!
Both Grand Prize winners are also Havok authors! It is such a treat to see their artistic side come out and shine for this contest. Congratulations, you two.
Do you think we could find more artists among our authors, Phenny?
I’m sure we can. But wouldn’t it also be fun to attract more artists to our community? Maybe, just maybe, we could have more art contests in the future.
