Every character brings fresh fun to our Havok Season 12: Multiversal contest, and April was no different. Our authors all submitted stories about ONE character and we selected a whole month’s worth of reading about his adventures. Now we announce the winning story from each of our genre days: Mystery Monday, Techno Tuesday (sci-fi), Wacky Wednesday, Thriller Thursday, and Fantasy Friday. ONE of these five winners is selected by the creator of the character to be the “Maker’s Favorite”!
So let’s meet the character and his maker…
April’s Featured Character: Zaivar “Zai” Witz
Jill Williamson is the creator of the fascinating character, Zaivar Witz. Her first novel, By Darkness Hid, won several awards and was named a Best Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror novel of 2009 by VOYA magazine. A generous innovator and collaborator, Jill has opened up the story world of her Blood of Kings trilogy to partner with other authors in creating (so far) four more books in that universe. No wonder she was open to our invitation to create a character other authors could write about in our contest. THANK YOU, JILL!
