Each month in 2024 we’ve had the pleasure of awarding the five winners of our monthly “Remember When” flash fiction contest a cash prize. Even with the rising costs of website hosting and publishing software, it has been possible because of YOU, our faithful readers, authors, and the volunteers who keep Havok running.
We continue to hope that someday we’ll have the funds to pay authors for every daily story we publish–so please keep spreading the word! We currently have the following awesome patrons combining their contributions to a total of $60/month on Patreon (well, about $58 after processing fees are deducted):

We’re looking forward to announcing the December winners at our Flash Peek open house over the January 3-5 weekend. During those three days, we’ll have the archives open to show the world what treasures of reading delight our authors have penned over the six years of Havok’s existence.
